Colorado State Crew is a co-ed, peer-led, no-cut team, with no try-outs. We offer a trial period for every prospective rower (1-2 Weeks), so that they may get a feel for the team and the sport before committing.

We accept new rowers in the Fall and Spring semesters at Colorado State, but the best time to join is the Fall. The best thing about joining crew? There is NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. The first two weeks of our season are Learn to Row, so you can pick up on all the basics without pressure of competing right away. Last year, we had over 10 new rowers join in the fall and we were cruising by October!
